The findings suggest that social media marketing is dominant in all business marketing strategies. Consumers also understand the importance of social media and use it more frequently when finding out what events are on and also conveying positive feedback and critique of events. Celebrities walk adjacent to social media and also use current platforms to interact with fans. They also use social media to endorse products and events. Social media and celebrities walk head to head in the industry and together are very powerful.

 

The events industry has proven the understanding of control that social media can have when interacting with consumers. In order to continue receiving positive impacts the industry must continue to stay connected with their consumers therefore this is why it is important to explore and understand the future of social media to gain knowledge of how to stay interacted.

 

It is clear that the social media market does not appear to be slowing down with the amount of users that are active and continue to become more and more active every day. If the events industry continue to use social media marketing it will continue to have a positive effect on the market and will help it grow.
