FINAL MAJOR PROJECT

Research has shown that HIV is increasing not just locally but globally and the number of people living with HIV and AIDS is only increasing in 2014 estimated figures shows that there was 103,700 people living with HIV in the UK (Public Health England. 2015). Finding have also shown that less money is being spent to help prevent HIV. This is why Aura Events has come up with an event to help educate today’s youth of how to prevent HIV and Aids.

 

Aura Events has created an evening event called ‘Take the test, Take control’ and Consumers who see promotion and marketing from Aura events will see messages of influence and communication of how to have safe sex, the importance of taking a cervical cancer, screening test and STI tests. The sources of marketing used will mainly be published on social media. Aura Event will create a huge Social Media frenzy and get celebrities involves with announcing dates of upcoming events and formal strong messages to help consumers relate and attend. The event held in 2017 will be a ticketed indoor music concert event that Aura Events hopes to attract up 3000 people to attend the event being held.
